Hello! My name is Laurel and I am a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist and owner of Joyful Expressions Speech Therapy. I provide high quality and carefully planned speech and language evaluations and therapy to kids ages tot to teen. I focus on a collaborative relationship with families to maximize success in therapy. I offer parent coaching and consultations, IEP support, and speech, language and social groups. I am connection focused, neurodiversity affirming, and ready to meet your child right where they are at. I believe all communication counts and that therapy should be child led. I focus on building a strong foundation through mutual trust and connection, incorporating your child’s interests and passions, and helping your child communicate their thoughts, ideas, and dreams. I provide a warm, inviting, sensory and language rich environment. As a mom of four, I recognize the most important influence and collaborator in a child's communication journey is their family. Providing family centered care is very important to me and I am ready to work with you every step of the way to help your sweet child thrive! I am proud to be a part of Generations of Joy Wellness Collective in Uptown Marysville. I look forward to working with clients in such a warm and inviting space, with incredible like-minded business owners. I value the importance of taking on a smaller caseload. This allows me to best serve the needs of my clients while I continue my educational journey through continuing education courses and conferences.
